Ingredients
- 2 cups cold brew coffee, chilled
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon white miso paste
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Whipped cream for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- For the miso caramel: In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat without stirring until amber colored, about 8 minutes
- Remove from heat and carefully whisk in heavy cream (mixture will bubble)
- Whisk in miso paste and sea salt until smooth. Let cool completely
