Ingredients
- 1 cup coarse ground medium-dark roast coffee beans
- 4 cups filtered water
- 2 cups mixed forest berries (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 food-grade cedar plank (about 4 inches)
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Combine coarsely ground coffee with cold filtered water in a large jar
- Steep in refrigerator for 12 hours
- Meanwhile, make berry syrup by combining berries and honey in a saucepan
- Simmer for 10 minutes, strain, and cool
- Toast cedar plank lightly with a kitchen torch
- Place cedar plank in berry syrup while cooling
