- Paper coffee filters
- Fine-mesh strainer
- Saucepan
- Measuring cups and spoons
Ingredients
- 1 cup coarse-ground medium-dark roast coffee
- 4 cups cold filtered water
- 1 cup fresh wild blueberries
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup water (for syrup)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes
- Additional mint sprigs and blueberries for garnish
Instructions
- Combine coarse-ground coffee with 4 cups cold water in a large jar
- Steep in refrigerator for 12 hours
- Meanwhile, combine blueberries, honey, and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then add mint leaves
- Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes
- Strain syrup and refrigerate
- Strain cold brew through paper filter
- For each serving, combine 3/4 cup cold brew with 2-3 tablespoons blueberry-mint syrup
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint and blueberries
