Ingredients
- 20g medium-dark roast coffee beans
- 300ml filtered water at 200°F
- 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
- 120ml heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons chestnut syrup
- Optional: 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Split vanilla bean and steep in gently heated heavy cream for 10 minutes. Strain and set aside.
- Grind coffee beans to medium-fine consistency
- Place filter in pour-over dripper and rinse with hot water
- Add ground coffee to filter and create a small well in the center
- Pour 50ml hot water in circular motion for blooming, wait 30 seconds
- Gradually add remaining water in circular motions
- Add chestnut syrup to brewed coffee
- Top with vanilla bean cream and serve immediately
