Ingredients
- 24g medium-dark roast coffee beans
- 360ml filtered water at 200°F
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 fresh sage leaves
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until golden amber
- Add sage leaves to the hot butter and remove from heat. Let infuse for 5 minutes
- Grind coffee beans to medium-coarse consistency
- Place filter in pour-over dripper and rinse with hot water
- Add ground coffee to filter and level the bed
- Start timer and pour 50ml water in circular motion for blooming
- At 30 seconds, begin main pour in circular motions, maintaining water level
- Remove sage leaves from butter and drizzle 1-2 teaspoons over finished coffee
- Add optional pinch of salt and serve immediately
