  • Tall glass
  • Small bowl for matcha mixture
  • Spoon
  • Kettle

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Vietnamese dark roast coffee, coarsely ground
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon high-quality matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot water (for matcha)
  • Ice cubes
  • 8 ounces hot water (for coffee)

Instructions

  1. Mix matcha powder with 2 tablespoons hot water and honey until smooth. Dip the rim of your glass in the mixture and set aside
  2. Add condensed milk to the bottom of your serving glass
  3. Place the phin filter on top of your glass
  4. Add ground coffee to the filter and gently tap to level
  5. Pour a small amount of hot water to wet the grounds and wait 30 seconds
