Ingredients
- 17g medium-dark roast coffee, finely ground
- 1 ripe Fuyu persimmon, pureed
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, plus extra for topping
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground ginger
- 4 oz whole milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- 200ml hot water (195°F)
Instructions
- Puree the persimmon until smooth and strain through a fine-mesh sieve
- Mix persimmon puree with honey and spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger)
- Set up your AeroPress in the inverted position with the filter in place
- Add ground coffee to the AeroPress
- Pour hot water over the grounds and stir gently
- Let steep for 1 minute
- While coffee steeps, froth cold milk with cinnamon until foamy
- Press the AeroPress into your serving cup
- Add the spiced persimmon mixture and stir well
- Top with the cinnamon milk foam
