Ingredients
- 17g medium-roast coffee beans, ground medium-fine
- 200ml filtered water at 175°F (80°C)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp dried culinary lavender buds
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 vanilla bean pod, split and scraped
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Combine honey and lavender in a small bowl. Heat slightly and steep for 2 minutes. Strain and set aside.
- Grind coffee beans to medium-fine consistency.
- Set up AeroPress in standard position with filter rinsed.
- Add ground coffee to AeroPress and level the bed.
- Pour hot water over grounds in circular motion.
- Stir gently 3 times and attach cap.
- At 1:30, begin pressing slowly, finishing at 2:00.
- Whip heavy cream with vanilla bean seeds until soft peaks form.
- Add lavender honey to coffee and stir.
