Ingredients
- 15g medium roast coffee beans, freshly ground
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tbsp honey
- Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- 200ml hot water (175°F/80°C)
Instructions
- Grind your coffee beans to a fine-medium consistency
- Place the AeroPress in inverted position and add the ground coffee
- Mix the grated ginger, turmeric, and black pepper in a small bowl
- Add the spice mixture to the coffee grounds
- Heat water to 175°F/80°C
- Pour hot water over the coffee and spice mixture
- Stir gently for 10 seconds
- Let steep for 1 minute
- Attach the filter cap with a rinsed paper filter
- Carefully flip and press over your mug
- Stir in honey until dissolved
