Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons ground dark roast coffee
- 2 cups water
- 4 tablespoons dulce de leche
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- **For churro spice mix:**
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a small bowl to create churro spice mix
- Fill the bottom chamber of your moka pot with hot water up to the valve
- Add ground coffee to the filter basket, don't tamp
- Assemble moka pot and place on medium heat
- Once coffee begins to flow, reduce heat to low
- Remove from heat when brewing is complete
- In each serving cup, add 2 tablespoons dulce de leche and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- Pour hot coffee over dulce de leche mixture and stir well
- Top with a generous sprinkle of churro spice mix
