Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons coarsely ground dark roast coffee
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
- 16 oz hot water (200°F)
Instructions
- Split vanilla bean and scrape seeds. Mix with maple syrup and set aside.
- Combine ground coffee with all spices in your French press.
- Heat filtered water to 200°F.
- Pour hot water over coffee mixture and stir gently.
- Place plunger on top and let steep for 4 minutes.
